What is expressed in the so-called "preparation exercise" results from individual and collective research, study, and practice — as well as direct contact with direct students of Gurdjieff — over a period of forty-seven years.

The manner in which it is expressed is my personal rewriting and interpretation à la Gurdjieff of passages excerpted from The Pointing-Out Instruction to the Old Lady as given by the nirmanakaya Master Padmasambhava more than a thousand years ago.
